Pearl Roth Topilow Josephs
Pearl Roth Topilow Josephs of Tinton Falls died Oct. 21, 2019, one month before her 106th birthday. Born on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, she was the youngest of seven children. She raised her family in Bayonne and later lived in Manchester before moving to Tinton Falls. She also had spent winters in Delray Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Josephs taught school in Jersey City for several years.
She graduated from Erasmus Hall High School in Brooklyn and Hunter College in Manhattan.
She loved music and art, and was an accomplished mah jongg and canasta player.
Predeceased by her husbands, Jacob Topilow and Mike Josephs, she is survived by two sons and their wives, Arthur and Carl Topilow; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a stepson and his wife; and three step-grandchildren.
