PJ Library hosting family challah program in Whippany
Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ is hosting PJ Library’s Challah in Pajamas on Thursday, February 27, at 6:30 p.m. Families will gather to braid challah, hear PJ Library stories, and connect through Jewish tradition.
The program is coordinated by Challah Back Girls, a sibling-run business that uses challah as a symbol of unity to promote justice and compassion. (www.challahbackgirls.org)
In the spirit of giving, the program is in partnership with Federation’s Center for Volunteerism. Participants are asked to bring a new pair of pajamas to donate to a child in need, along with gently used PJ Library books.
It costs $36 per family and supports the UJA Campaign. For information, email Aliyah Walters at awalters@jfedgmw.org go to www.jfedgmw.org/event/pj-library-challah-in-pajamas/
