Preventing chronic health issues

Michael McIntyre, a nurse practitioner at Trinitas Medical Group, discusses “Preventing Chronic Illness” on Tuesday, February 8, at 11 a.m., for Jewish Family Service of Central New Jersey. The free online program focuses on chronic health issues including hypertension, diabetes, and heart disease. Mr. McIntyre began his career in healthcare as a registered nurse at Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan, and then worked as a hospital administrator at several hospitals in New Jersey and New York.

The program is funded by the Lavy House Senior Resource Center and the Standish Foundation. Everyone who registers and attends will be entered for a chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card.
