The Chabad Center of Northwest NJ will celebrate Purim beginning on Monday, March 6, at 6:15 p.m., at the Chabad Center in Rockaway Township. The Megillah reading, using bilingual texts, will be accompanied by an animated Purim video. A festive Purim celebration with live music and refreshments will follow. There will be a second Megillah reading for anyone who missed the first one.

On Tuesday, March 7, there will be a grand Purim celebration at the White Meadow Lake Country Club at 5 p.m., with a full course feast, a DJ with interactive music games, music, and dancing, and well as face painting, a photo booth, and Purim crafts for kids. The Megillah will be read at 4:15.

In an effort to make the observance and celebration of Purim accessible to all, there will be many Megillah readings throughout Purim day, at the Chabad Center, and in local offices, nursing homes, and hospitals. Megillah readings for the homebound will be arranged on request. All events are open to the community regardless of background or affiliation. For more information, call the Chabad Center at (973) 625-1525, ext. 202, or email rabbib@onetorahway.org.
