Reckless behavior
I am a resident of Rockland County and live in the Village of Montebello, which borders Monsey in New York. The charedi community both here and in Israel threaten the lives of their people and the people who live near them (“Despite heavy toll, some Orthodox flout distancing rules,” April 9).
I refuse to shop in my area because of the reckless behavior and disregard they show to anyone outside their community. My daughter made aliyah and lives in Tel Aviv and follows the quarantine orders mandated by Israel, just like I do in Rockland County.
The charedi community in Israel shows the same disregard for their fellow Israelis, not to mention the people living in the West Bank. They should be ashamed of themselves.
