Regina Isen
Regina Isen, 94, of Tampa, Fla., died March 28, 2015. Born in New York, she resided in the Jersey Shore area (Bradley Beach and Deal) since 1945, and spent 35 years in Long Branch before recently moving to Tampa.
After teaching English for a brief period of time, Mrs. Isen was among the first women to become a stockbroker and enjoyed a successful career working for the brokerage firms Hugh Johnson and Robert Weston & Company.
She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from New York University, where she earned her master’s degree in English literature.
She was a life member and past president of Jersey Shore Hadassah and former member of Congregation Agudath Achim, Bradley Beach.
Predeceased by her husband, Paul, she is survived by two daughters, Judi Rose of North Caldwell and Hedy Sacco of Apollo Beach, Fla.; a sister, Selma Hudesman of Oyster Bay, NY; and four grandchildren.
Services were held March 31 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean. Memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Agudath Achim.
