Remembering the Holocaust in Parsippany
In the fall 2022, students at Temple Beth Am religious school students joined other congregants at the Morris Plains synagogue to plant flowers at the Raoul Wallenberg Sculpture Memorial at Smith Field Park in Parsippany. It was in remembrance of 1.5 million children who died during the Holocaust, as part of the Daffodil Project. The Holocaust Council of the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest honors the children by participating in a project that aims to build a worldwide living Holocaust memorial. This is the first year the flowers were in full bloom.
