Richard Grad
Richard “Teddy” Grad of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., died Nov. 10, 2010. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Livingston and spent his summers in Long Branch before retiring to Palm Beach Gardens many years ago. Mr. Grad was the president of the Five Star Group, a paint and hardware wholesale distributor, in East Hanover.
He served in the Air Force National Guard.
He was a former member of Crestmont Country Club in West Orange, the Hollywood Golf Club in Deal, and Frenchman Reef Golf Community.
Predeceased by his first wife, Lynn, he is survived by his wife Marlene; four daughters, Cindy Krugman, Mona Kanter, Debra Gelber, and Lauren Silver; and eight grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 12 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to the Israel Cancer Research Fund for Sarcoma, New York.
