Robert H. Chandross, 77, of South Orange died Jan. 22, 2018. Born in Brooklyn, he resided in South Orange since 1971.
Mr. Chandross was an economist and, before retiring, was employed at Republic National Bank in New York City.
He was a member of the American Economic Association, and was Village Parking Commissioner for South Orange.
He is survived by his wife, Linda (Glick); two sons, Alan (Marilyn) Chandross of West Bloomfield, Mich., and Seth (Kim) Faver of Maplewood; his daughter, Nancy B. Chandross of New York City; two brothers, Edwin Chandross of Berkeley Heights and David Chandross of Florida; and two grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 24 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to ASPCA; New York University; or Kol Rina Independent Minyan, South Orange.
