Robert Kussner
Robert Allan Kussner, 79, of Somerset died Jan. 20, 2020. Born in Staten Island, he resided in Edison for almost 50 years.
Mr. Kussner was self-employed in the field of cellular foam products for over 40 years.
He served in the Army reserves for 21 years and retired as a lieutenant colonel.
He was a member of Neve Shalom in Metuchen, serving as president of the congregation for two years.
He was a docent for The Murtogh D. Guinness collection of historical mechanical musical instruments and automata at The Morris Museum in Morristown.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carole; his son, Russell of Scotch Plains; his daughter, Beth Kussner-Cohen of Reisterstown, Md.; a sister, Ruth Miller of Amherst, Mass.; and four grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 22 with arrangements by Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Inc., Edison.
