Rock the boat
In reading your editorial, “Politics, policy, and Pollard” (April 28), I was struck with the notion that you are suggesting that we Jews shouldn’t rock the boat.
Why can’t Jewish leaders express what’s on their minds? You seem not to attribute much importance to the facts that Benjamin Netanyahu is the elected leader of Israel and Yonah Metzger is Israel’s chief Ashkenazi rabbi. Even if you don’t agree with their thinking, by virtue of their positions and the shared values of our two nations, they should be able to express their opinions in the United States Congress and to President Obama without having you say “sha.”
