Rutgers students recognized for excellence in Jewish studies 

On May 4, Rutgers students were recognized for their academic achievements in Jewish studies at a virtual end-of-year celebration and awards ceremony. Awards were given both to undergraduate and graduate students and included grants for research. The annual awards ceremony is sponsored by the department of Jewish studies and the Allen and Joan Bildner Center for the Study of Jewish Life at Rutgers at the State University of New Jersey. Ilana Berkman of Manalapan, Spencer Brown of Edison, Samuel Lurie of Livingston, Esther Martins of New Brunswick, and Amy Rosen of Flemington were among the recipients.
