Ruth Glasser
Ruth Feinberg Glasser, 98, of Lakewood died Feb. 28, 2012. Born in New York City, she lived in Lakewood since 1917.
An active member in her community, Mrs. Glasser was a life member of Deborah, past sisterhood president at Congregation Sons of Israel, organizer and past president of Lakewood Hadassah, and a volunteer at Red Cross and Heart Fund. She was the oldest member of the congregation at the time of her death.
Predeceased by her husband, Charles, in 1968, she is survived by her daughter, Sheila Glasser-Harris of Lakewood, and her sister, Lillian Zweben of Florida.
Services were held Feb. 29 with arrangements by Belkoff-Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Lakewood.
