Sage Eldercare community fair

Sage Eldercare holds its community fair on Saturday, September 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in its parking lot at 290 Broad St. in Summit. It’s an opportunity to learn what various organizations offer, and meet their representatives. The rain date is Sunday, September 11.

The Sage Eldercare staff will discuss the many services it offers, including furniture restoration, homecare, Meals on Wheels, SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program),Spend-A-Day, volunteer opportunities, and Your Decisions Matter.

The fair, which is free and open to the public, includes music, raffles, and giveaways. Free parking is available at the Broad Street parking garage across the street from the event.

“We are excited to be able to offer this to our neighbors and community after the past two years of pandemic social distancing,” Galina Muller, Sage’s director of finance and administration, said. “It’s time we all come together again and begin to embrace life and community.” The fair will showcase resources available in Summit. Local organizations include Atlantic Health System, Bradley Funeral Home, BRIDGES Outreach, the Visual Arts Center of NJ, and Avellino’s Mobile Wood Fired Pizza Truck.
