Salo Enis
Salo Enis of Springfield died Oct. 6, 2013. Born in Dolina, Poland, in 1916, he was a Holocaust survivor who immigrated to the United States after World War II.
Mr. Enis worked at Tenney Engineering for 31 years. He also taught Jewish literature for 30 years at the Suburban Jewish School in West Orange. After retiring, he was employed by the JCC of Central NJ in Scotch Plains and the YM-YWHA of Union County, Union.
He was educated in Poland.
He is survived by his wife, Klara; his daughter, Nora; and three grandchildren.
Services were held Oct. 9 with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels of Maplewood.
