Samuel Rosner
Samuel (Seymour) Rosner, 91, of North Caldwell died March 15, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, he spent more than 80 years of his life in Bayonne.
Mr. Rosner built a successful dry cleaning business in New York City before retiring over 25 years ago.
He served in the Army during World War II and was decorated for his exemplary service.
He was very active in the Bayonne Jewish community and he and his wife Shirley were honored for their contributions to the community.
He was an accomplished sculptor.
He is survived by his wife of over 66 years, Shirley (Salmanowitz); three sons, Stuart, Stanley (Linda), and Steve (Stefanie); two daughters, Susan (Ori) Zviklin and Shari-Beth (Jeff) Susskind; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held March 17 with arrangements by Gutterman Bros., Jersey City. Memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ.
