Saul Lee

Saul P. Lee, 97, of West Orange died March 3, 2016. Born in Newark, he also had lived in East Orange and Whippany.

Dr. Lee had a private dentistry practice in Summit for over 40 years before his retirement in 1987. 

He graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1943. 

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was sent to Alaska, where he suffered a disabling injury on Adak Island. 

He was a member of many professional, veterans, and social organizations, including the Essex County Dental Society, the NJ State Dental Society, the American Dental Society, the Disabled American Veterans, the Alpha Omega Fraternity, and East Orange Golf Club.

Predeceased by his wife, Pearl, he is survived by two nieces, Eleanor Lazarus and Susan Fischman, and a nephew, Louis Fischman.

Services were held March 9 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
