About 90 congregants, family members, and friends attended a testimonial dinner honoring Jason Hoberman, Congregation Beth Israel in Scotch Plains’ immediate past president. The dinner, chaired by Illana Margolis, featured presentations by Rabbi Howard Tilman; Aaron Kessler, CBI’s new president; and past president Stephen Wiener.

Mr. Hoberman’s son, Reid, recited the opening blessing over the challah and his daughter, Ashley, sang “Daddy’s Little Girl” as a musical tribute to her father. Long-time friend and CBI member Gregg Kleinbaum presented gifts to Mr. Hoberman to thank him for his leadership and service.
