Selma Rowe
Selma Rowe, 88, of Randolph, formerly of Rockaway and Flanders, died Feb. 15, 2017.
Mrs. Rowe was retired as a bookkeeper for many years with Franshaw Garments, a New York-based garment manufacturer.
She was a member of Red Hats Society, an international organization for women seeking to assist other women emotionally and inspirationally. She also belonged to the Rockaway Hookers, a knitting club, and the L’Chaim club of Temple Shalom of Succasunna.
Predeceased by her husband, Murray, and her son, Allan Witover, she is survived by four daughters, Alison Lenihan (Anthony Ventrella) of Randolph, Michele (David) Palermo of Mt. Arlington, Susan (the late Jeffrey) Stelzer of Queens, and Marsha Stein of Brooklyn; a sister, Bernice Epstein of New Milford; and eight grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 19 with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels of Dover.
