Seymour Feldman

Seymour (Sy) Feldman, 77, of Denville died April 13, 2014. Born in Brooklyn, he also had lived in Sudbury, Mass., for 31 years.

Mr. Feldman enjoyed a distinguished career in the aerospace and high-tech industries, retiring in 1995 after 18 years with Digital Equipment Corporation. Following his retirement, he founded his own computer service business, The Computer Doctor. 

He attended City College of New York, acquiring two degrees in electrical engineering, and pursued a PhD in Operations Research at NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering. 

He was a member of Garden State Yacht Club.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Beverly (Shapiro); his son, Michael (Joy) of East Greenwich, RI; his daughter, Lauren (Ted) Bernard of New Albany, Ohio; a brother, Harvey; a sister, Arlene Kaszovitz; and five grandchildren.

Services were held April 17 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
