Seymour Hecht
Seymour (Shimmy) Hecht, 94, of Rockaway died Dec. 21, 2014. He was born in Irvington.
Mr. Hecht was a pharmacist for many years.
He graduated from Rutgers College of Pharmacy.
Predeceased by his wife, Doris (Stempler), in 1996, he is survived by two daughters, Andi Silverman of Morris Plains and Carol (Stuart) Levitch of Livingston; his son, Fred (Kim) of Randolph; two brothers, Arnold Hecht of West Orange and Russell Hecht of Manchester; five grandchildren; a great-grandson; and his companion, Ruth Booth.
Services were held Dec. 23 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
