Seymour Kudwitt
Seymour J. Kudwitt, 92, of Monroe Township died Sept. 11, 2017. Born in New York City, he resided in Rockaway before moving to the Clearbrook community of Monroe upon his retirement in 1993.
Mr. Kudwitt had been a self-employed salesman for the garment industry.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving from 1943 to 1946 in the 104th Infantry, and was the recipient of the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and Combat Infantryman’s Badge.
He was a member and ritual chairman of Jewish Congregation of Clearbrook, a member of the Jewish War Veterans’ Post #395 Clearbrook, and the Clearbrook Art Association.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Anita Seltzer Kudwitt; two sons, Gary (Bonnie) of Kendall Park and Ross (Rebecca) of Westport, Conn.; and four grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 12 with arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick.
