Congregation Beth Israel in Scotch Plains hosts “Finding Your Voice: A Weekend with Pioneering Cantors in Honor of Women’s History Month,” through March 1. Tonight, there’s dinner, 6 p.m., and Cantor Susan Mandell will lead services at 7:30. On Shabbat morning at 9:30, Cantor Kalix Jacobson will lead services and give a talk. A kiddush lunch follows services. The cantors perform in concert at 7 p.m., joined by CBI’s Cantor Jacob Greenberg, Rabbi Cantor Vicki Axe, and pianist Dave Schlossberg, with dessert. Susan Mandell is one of the first female clergy, and Kalix Jacobson, one of the first transgender clergy. Registration is required for all events. www.cbinj.org or (908) 889-1830.
