Shabbat on the beach

Or Hadash in Rockaway begins its summer sessions of Shabbat on the Beach. Each Friday evening begins with a kosher Shabbat dinner (with a vegetarian option) in the White Meadow Lake Beach 3 pavilion. Shabbat services on the beach follow. Bring your own chair and head covering. In case of rain, dinner and services will be held in the synagogue.

The programs are June 21 and July 26, beginning with dinner at 6 p.m., and the service is at 7. On August 16, dinner is at 5:30 p.m., and the service is at 6:30.
