The Shifra and Puah organization held an event at Bris Avrohom to raise money to help it continue its work. Since its inception two years ago, Shifra and Puah has pampered many mothers after they give birth. Each family receives a week’s worth of hot, home-cooked breakfasts, made by a dedicated volunteer. At the end of that week, the mother gets a box of Shabbat treats for the family and a bouquet of flowers. She also gets to choose a self-care package with options like acupuncture, massage, salon, cleaning help, and more. The support is primarily for mothers, so they can feel their best after giving birth.
