Shirley Krieger Budetti
Shirley Krieger Budetti (Deitel), 91, of Aventura, Fla., died Oct. 10, 2013. Born in Toronto, Canada, she spent many years of her life in Highland Park before moving to Florida in 1977.
Mrs. Budetti had owned and operated Shirley K Gifts and Cosmetics in New Brunswick featuring her own private-label cosmetic line.
In her early years while raising her children, she was an active community volunteer, serving as president of the Jesse Sampter chapter of Hadassah and the Highland Park Lions Club Women’s Auxiliary. More recently she was one of the founders of Hadassah’s Turnberry chapter in Aventura, where she served as president and on numerous committees and projects and which honored her as Woman of the Year in 1995.
Predeceased by her first husband of 35 years, Milton Krieger, her second husband of one year, Julius Siegel, and her husband of nearly 30 years, Joseph Budetti, last July, she is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Krieger (Adrienne) of Miami Beach and David Krieger of Monroe Township; her daughter, Judy (Robert) Perla of North Brunswick; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held Oct. 13 at Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple, New Brunswick, with arrangements by Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, New Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Hadassah.
