SIEGEL-SOLAR

Corinne Glassman Siegel of Montgomery announces the engagement of her daughter, Emily Rose Siegel, to Max Solar, son of Vickie Carr of Seattle and Ronald Solar of San Diego. The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Dr. Randall Louis Siegel.

Ms. Siegel, a graduate of Montgomery High School, earned her bachelor of science in nursing from University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. She is a pediatric nurse in Brookline, Mass.

Mr. Solar earned his bachelor of science in engineering from University of Pennsylvania. He is a PhD student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge.

An Aug. 10 wedding is planned.
