Standing up in Millburn against anti-Semitism

Rabbi Mendel Bogomilsky of the Chai Center Chabad of Short Hills welcomed about 350 people to a rally, called “Stand Up Against Anti-Semitism, Stand Up With Israel,” at Taylor Park in Milburn on May 25. Dianne Eglow, a Millburn Township committeewoman, extended greetings, and Jordana Horn read a statement from Congressman Tom Malinowski. Amit Stern, representing Jewish Federation of MetroWest, Rabbi Leah Sternberg of Bnai Jeshurun in Short Hills, and Rabbi Ari Isenberg of Congregation B’nai Israel of Millburn also spoke. Other participants included Millburn High School seniors Lexi Abrams and Alana Good and Cantor Lorna Wallach of Congregation B’nai Israel in Millburn. Rabbi Simeon Cohen of Temple Beth Shalom of Livingston lead “Hatikvah” at the end of the rally.
