Susan Heymsfeld
Susan Heymsfeld, 68, of Princeton died Feb. 26, 2016. She was born in Pittsfield, Mass.
Mrs. Heymsfeld was a graduate of Mount Holyoke College, class of 1969.
A member of the Present Day Club and the Nassau Club, she was campaign chair of the Women’s Campaign for Jewish Federation of Princeton. She was active in Hadassah and volunteered at the Community Park Library and the John Witherspoon Middle School Library, as well as serving on the board of the Princeton Regional Scholarship Foundation.
Predeceased by her parents, Marjorie Cornacchio and William Goldsmith, she is survived by her husband of 41 years, Joel; her daughter, Margaret Heymsfeld (Christopher) Johnson; a brother, Robert W. Goldsmith; her stepfather, John F. Cornacchio; two stepsisters, Janet Cornacchio and Gina Leahy; and a granddaughter.
Services were held Feb. 28 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Program at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro.
