Susan Reiss-Baskin
Susan Reiss-Baskin, 59, of Millburn died May 1, 2020. She was born in Newark.
Ms. Reiss-Baskin worked for many years as assistant counsel for the Office of the General Counsel at the Social Security Administration in New York City. She graduated from Emory University and Cardozo School of Law. She loved animals and going to Broadway shows, the ballet, and museums. She enjoyed vacationing each year in Maine and Mexico.
Predeceased by her father, Norton Reiss, she is survived by her husband of 31 years, Steven Baskin; her mother, Lois Lessner Reiss; two brothers, Richard and James Reiss; her mother-in-law, Carole Baskin; four nieces; and great-nieces and cousins.
Private graveside services were held May 4; a memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center or American Cancer Society.
