Syd Rosenthal
Syd Rosenthal, 102, of West Orange died Feb. 5, 2011. Born in Newark, she resided in Union before moving to West Orange nine years ago.
Before retiring at the age of 67, Mrs. Rosenthal had been employed as a secretary for Western Union in Newark.
Predeceased by her husband, Saul, and a grandson, David Haberman, she is survived by her daughter, Barbara Hodes of Livingston; her son, Michael of Spring Lake Heights; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 7 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
