Toby Weissman
Toby Weissman (Margolis), 98, of North Wales, Pa., died Aug. 22, 2012. Born and raised in Newark, she later moved to Irvington for 21 years, where she raised her family, and in Queens for 40 years before moving to North Wales three years ago.
Mrs. Weissman worked for A&P in Newark for 15 years and Lerner Shops in New York City for 15 years.
She was a member of Workmen’s Circle and a lifetime member of Hadassah.
Predeceased by her husbands, Seymour Jacobs in 1997, Eli Kuntzman, and David Weissman, she is survived by two sons, Martin Jacobs of Blue Bell, Pa., and Bertram Jacobs of Tempe, Ariz.; her daughter, Gloria Jacobs of New York City; a brother, Louis Margolis of Cranford; a sister, Esther Simon of Omaha, Neb.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 24 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to Hadassah.
