Bris Avrohom’s weekly men’s kollel in Hillside featured a kinus Torah after Shavuot with a four-man panel discussing lessons to take following the receiving of the Torah.

Rabbi Shmaya Krinsky spoke about the deeper meaning of matan Torah (the time when God gave the Torah to study and keep); Rabbi Aryeh Lavner talked about the language of davening; Rabbi Yechiel Kalmanson discussed how the Jews were able to convert on Shabbat, and Rabbi Avremy Kanelsky gave a siyum on the tractate Sotah.

The kinus Torah, which included Chinese food and beer, was sponsored by Yossi Hyams in honor of his grandmother’s yahrzeit. For more information on upcoming activities, go to brisavrohom.org.
