Touro will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a gala on Sunday, December 4, at 4 p.m., at the New York Marriott Marquis in New York City. It will mark the university’s “50 years of impact and innovation.”
Honorees are Dr. Alan Kadish, president of the Touro University System; Dovid Lichtenstein, Touro board member, entrepreneur and real estate investor; Dr. Robert Goldschmidt, Touro vice president and Lander executive dean; and Shelley Berkley, Touro senior vice president and former Nevada congresswoman. An honorary doctorate will go to Dr. Albert Bourla, Pfizer’s chairman and CEO, who oversaw the creation and production of the covid vaccine.
