Trudy Springer
Trudy Springer, 94, of Somerset died July 1, 2017. Born in Yosbach, Germany, she and her family immigrated to the United States in 1938. She first settled in New York City and later moved to Woodbridge in 1956 and West Palm Beach, Fla., in 1991 before moving to Somerset in 2004.
Mrs. Springer worked in the child care field.
She was a member of Hadassah and ORT.
Predeceased by her husband, Fred, she is survived by two sons, David (Sandra) of Cranford and Robert (Jean) of Bridgewater; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held July 3 with arrangements by Ross’ Shalom Chapels, Springfield. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Beth-El Mekor Chayim in Cranford for its accessibility project.
