Village Apartments offer in-town living for active adults

Residents of Village Apartments in South Orange enjoy the benefits of living in a vibrant town. The community, for independent seniors ages 62 and older, is within walking distance of all that the Village of South Orange offers such as shopping and dining, cultural events at South Orange Performing Arts Center, the convenience of a NJ Transit station, several houses of worship, and Seton Hall University. Just a short drive away is South Mountain Reserve, Codey Arena, and the JCC MetroWest.

The senior living community offers a full range of activities catering to residents’ hobbies and interests (some open to the public), including cultural arts programs, discussion groups, knitting club, musical performances, socials, and lifelong learning seminars. An optional kosher lunch program is available as well as on-site medical services for those who medically qualify.

Amenities include the spacious, landscaped backyard patio, fitness center, computer room, community room with a fireside lounge and movie screening area, on-site laundry rooms, and sitting areas on every floor. There is a choice of market-rate rental apartments, from studio to one-bedrooms with a den, each with an intercom and 24-hour emergency call system.

Transportation is provided for shopping, cultural events, and outings, and on-site social services are available.
