Cantor Anna Ott and Susan Levine visited the Jewish Historical Society of Greater MetroWest to see the Kol Dodi Jewish Community Choir collection. Kol Dodi, a Jewish community choir that presents a wide variety of Jewish liturgical and secular music in Hebrew, English, Yiddish, and Ladino, has performed throughout the tristate area for more than 20 years.

The visit was in anticipation of an upcoming concert honoring the choir’s founders, Cantors Joel Caplan and Erica Lippitz. The June 5 program at Congregation Agudath Israel in Caldwell will feature a retrospective of the choir’s 33-year history.

If you have items to donate to the collection, please email the society’s archivist, Jill Hershorin, at jhershorin@jfedgmw.org or call her at (973) 929-2995. For questions about the June program, email Susan Levine at slspeak@aol.com.
