Visiting three sukkot in three states
ABRAMS HEBREW ACADEMY students performed the mitzvah of visiting and eating in a sukkah and celebrated the holiday of Sukkot in three states on Oct. 10.
Lower school students visited the sukkot of Morah Bracha Feldheim and Rabbi Chaim Tesser in Lakewood, where they performed the mitzvah of saying the blessings over the lulav and etrog, heard Sukkot stories, and ate lunch.
Middle school students visited sukkot during their trip to Washington, D.C. Their first stop was at the Chabad Center in Wilmington, Del., where they were hosted by Rabbi Flickstein, an Abrams alumnus.
On their return from the District of Columbia they ate dinner in Baltimore at the Ner Israel Rabbinical College sukkah, hosted by Rabbi Sheftel Neuberger, president of the yeshiva.
