West Orange celebrates Lag B’Omer
Chabad of West Orange celebrates Lag B’Omer on Monday, May 8, at 7:30 p.m., at Oskar Schindler Performing Arts Center in West Orange. Yaakov Chesed, a popular Jewish music singer and songwriter, will perform; the Route 18 band will open for him. The concert will end with a kumsitz; attendees are welcome to bring their instruments and play around a bonfire. There’s also a barbecue dinner.
“We are thrilled to be hosting this Lag B’Omer event at OSPAC for the second year in a row,” Rabbi Mendy Kasowitz, Chabad of West Orange’s director, said. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate this special holiday in a fun and meaningful way. We hope to see everyone there!”
The evening is cosponsored with Chabad of West Orange and Congregations AABJ&D and Ohr Torah. For tickets, go to buytickets.at/congregationaabjd/904105.
