William Rosner
William Arthur Rosner, 99, of Monroe Township died July 26, 2019. He grew up on the Lower East Side of New York City, and also had lived in Piscataway, Highland Park, and Middletown.
Mr. Rosner worked in industrial instrument technology and sales, including a defense plant during World War II.
He was active in the labor movement and other causes. He built models and dollhouses, as well as birdhouses for his residential community,
The Ponds.
Predeceased by his wives, Faye Rosner in 1974 and Louise Rosner in 2013, he is survived by his son, Jeff (Anna-Liisa) Rosner; his daughter, Ellen Rosner; two stepchildren, Carol (Russ) Sterling and Andrew Rose; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of his life was held Aug. 10; arrangements were handled by Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, New Brunswick.
