Women’s day of volunteering

Women’s day of volunteering

The Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest’s Women’s Day of Volunteering at the Greater Newark Conservancy is set for Wednesday, July 27, from 10 a.m. to noon.

The morning of hands-on volunteering is at an urban farm in Newark. Volunteers will spend the morning tending to the farm, connecting with other women involved with Women’s Philanthropy and the Jewish Women’s Foundation, and learning about the history and relationship between the Greater Newark Conservancy and Greater MetroWest.

Atara Jacobson is the event chair, Elana Wilf Tanzman chairs the Center for Volunteerism, Deborah Jacob is the president of Women’s Philanthropy, and Judy Reisen Skillman and Linda Sterling are the Jewish Women’s Foundation co-chairs.
