Yolanda Gaynes
Yolanda Gaynes (Diamon), 91, of Atlanta died April 22, 2016. She was born and raised in Newark and later moved to Millburn, where she lived for 35 years. She moved to Boca Raton, Fla., in 1985 and then to Delray Beach, Fla., before moving to Atlanta in 2009.
Mrs. Gaynes graduated from Weequahic High School in Newark.
She was a lifetime member of Hadassah and ORT. She enjoyed playing tennis for 50 years.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Abe; her son, Bruce (Shelley); her daughter, Leslie (Richard) Gelfond; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held April 25 with arrangements by Dressler’s Jewish Funeral Care, Atlanta. Memorial contributions may be made to Weinstein Hospice, The Michael J. Fox Foundation, or Hadassah.
