Yom HaShoah in NYC

The Museum of Jewish Heritage — A Living Memorial to the Holocaust hosted New York’s annual Gathering of Remembrance at Temple Emanu-El, in person and livestreamed, as part of the museum’s Yom HaShoah tribute. Holocaust survivors were joined by dignitaries including Senate Majority Leader Charles E. Schumer, United States Ambassador to the U.N. Linda Thomas-Greenfield, and Representative Daniel Goldman.

In addition, a candle-lighting ceremony honored survivors and their families, including the third generation. HaZamir: the International Jewish Teen Choir performed. The gathering was co-chaired by museum board members Rita Lerner and Ann Oster, both of Bergen County.
