YOUR GUIDE TO Public Transportation

“YOUR GUIDE TO Public Transportation” for the City of Elizabeth is available to all residents of Elizabeth free of charge. The guide, produced by Louis Hoffman of the New Jersey Travel Independence Program (NJTIP) at Rutgers University, is the first bi-lingual English/Spanish guide and is available at all Elizabeth libraries, City Hall Office on Aging, Housing Authority Buildings, and Senior Centers. It can also be viewed online at jfscentralnj.org/lifelongelizabeth.

“Your Guide to Public Transportation” in Elizabeth has been made possible through funding from Trinitas Regional Medical Center, City of Elizabeth CDBG Grant, and Jewish Family Service of Central New Jersey. It is a project of the Lifelong Elizabeth Program funded through the Grotta Fund for Senior Care.

The Grotta Fund for Senior Care, established with the Jewish Community Foundation in 2013, has a long history of awarding grants to promote and support elder caregiving, senior programs at synagogues, and a range of community programs serving the elderly.
