A call for artists
The Lobby Gallery at Temple Sholom in Scotch Plains is seeking art for an upcoming exhibition. The show, called “Beginnings,” will run from September 20 to November 22, with a reception on Sunday, October 19, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
Artists should submit work that explores the idea of beginnings —moments of hope, transformation, and fresh starts. They are welcome to submit up to three images for consideration. The entry deadline is August 17; acceptance notices will be sent by August 24. Artwork drop-off is September 14. Each image must be identified with title, size, and medium. For example, an 8×10” acrylic painting titled “Flowers” should be identified as Flowers_8x10_Acrylic. Email them to gallery@sholomnj.org.
