Albert Kamine

Albert Kamine, 82, of Florham Park died on Oct. 25, 2010. Born in Paterson, he resided there before moving to Clifton for 35 years.

Mr. Kamine was an industrial plumbing and heating contractor for 50 years.

He attended Clemson College in South Carolina.

He was a member of many local organizations, and had the distinction of being a 60-year Mason as well as a lifelong member of the Veritans. He was a member of Temple Beth-El in Hillsborough.

He was a member of the Garden State Yacht Club for 39 years and in 1978 served as its Commodore. He was an ardent collector of original cartoon art and antique toys.

During World War II, he served in the Navy Air Corps.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Fern (Rosenblum); his son, Harold of Tewksbury; two daughters, Jodie of Coral Springs, Fla., and Ilene McMullen of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; two sisters, Bernyce Simon of Tuscon, Ariz., and Judith Beyer of Roseville, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services were held Oct. 27 with arrangements by Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Beth-El.
