Alexander Cohen
Alexander Cohen, 95, of Tinton Falls died Dec. 30, 2010, four days before his 96th birthday. Born in New York City, he lived for most of his life in Woodbridge.
Mr. Cohen was co-owner of Vivien’s Kiddie Shop, Woodbridge, for many years.
As a young man, he was a steward in the Merchant Marine and a Tech-4 in the U.S. Army during World War II, serving in Europe.
Predeceased by his wife, Vivien, he is survived by two sons, Bob of Edison and Harvey of Middletown, and a grandson.
Services were held Jan. 4 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean. Memorial contributions may be made to the Seabrook Benevolent Care Fund, Tinton Falls.
