Alice Goldstein, 89, of Manalapan died May 27, 2014. Born in New York City and raised in the Bronx, she later moved to Brooklyn in the 1970s, where she remained before moving to Manalapan 12 years ago.
Mrs. Goldstein was a receptionist for the YMHA in Brooklyn for many years and was a salesperson for E.J. Korvette department store in New York City.
She was a member of Union Hill Congregation in Manalapan.
Predeceased by her husband, Sidney, in 2008, she is survived by her son, Hal (Barbara Stone Goldstein) of Manalapan; a sister, Sarah Matlowsky; and two granddaughters.
Services were held May 29 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan. Memorial contributions may be made to Union Hill Congregation.
