All of Kobe

All of Kobe

Gabe Kahn writes that “it feels dirty, even callous” to bring up Kobe Bryant’s sexual assault accusations days after his death in a helicopter crash on Jan. 26 (Garden State of Mind, “Remembering all of Kobe,” Jan. 30). I wonder if Kahn received many responses to the effect that he did the right thing.

There were many reminders of the dark side of Kobe in the media. We didn’t need Kahn’s voice on this issue. Why did he feel the NEED to speak up about this, especially since it clearly pained him to do so?
