Anita Tosk
Anita Fay Tosk, 90, of Lakewood died July 8, 2018. Born and raised in Paterson and Brooklyn, she lived most of her adult life in Bayonne before relocating three years ago to Lakewood.
Prior to retiring, Mrs. Tosk worked as an administrative assistant at Sunflower Adult Daycare Center in Bayonne; secretary of medical records, admissions, and social services at Jewish Home and Rehab Center, Jersey City; and director of volunteers at Bayonne Hospital.
For more than four decades, she supported Temple Beth Am and its sisterhood in Bayonne and was actively involved in many Jewish organizations, notably Hadassah, Jewish Family & Counseling Service, and National Council of Jewish Women.
Predeceased by her husband, Rabbi Morris M., she is survived by her son, Stephen (Terri) of Pittsfield, Mass.; two daughters, Nadine (Harvey Schmidt) of New Orleans and Shari Solarski Tosk of Aberdeen; a brother, Jerry Finkelstein of Monroe Township; five grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren.
Services were held July 11 with arrangements by Gutterman Bros. Funeral Directors. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Beth Am or Special Olympics.
